Stephan Colling, also known as Kid Colling, is a new young talent from
Luxembourg who has decided to stand up and be counted. Having taught
himself to play the guitar with the music that was to mark him for life,
the Blues, he then decided to take the matter very seriously. In 2009
he enrolled in the American School of Modern Music (IMEP) in Paris to
learn and to study Jazz. As a result, after playing with
many prominent musicians on the Luxembourg Blues scene, in the summer
of 2012 he embarked on a new career with his faithful Gibson Es335
“Smoky-B” and his own band: ''The Kid Colling Cartel".

The band plays what Stephan calls "Modern Blues & Beyond".
Influenced by Jazz, Rock and Groove/Funk, the band also tackles
traditional numbers and performs its own compositions as well. The Kid
Colling Cartel, is an up and coming group that has set its sights on
becoming a reference in the Luxembourg scene. An act certainly worth
discovering.
